CLASS DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT STUDY

3-5 Day Workshop

This workshop is for self-directed students who want to work freely in a creative environment without the restraints of a curriculum. Libby will provide help and consultation as requested.

There will be time for discussions on subjects of interest to the group, but the workshop will focus on time to create.

SUPPLY LIST

___Sewing machine, including accessories and manual
___extension cord for machine
___notepaper and pencil
___fabric, threads and notions for a project. This can be something in progress or you can start a project in class. Bring as much or as little stuff as you choose!
___a sample of something that inspires you

CLASSROOM REQUIREMENTS

• large workspace for each student
• large screen or white wall (Instructor will bring digital projector)
• whiteboard or chalkboard
• 3-4 irons and full-size ironing boards
